The standard warranty provided to you is based on the consumer protection regulations valid throughout the European Union. ewelinkstore.com and your order (purchase contract) is governed by the Hungarian law, and because Hungary has a stronger consumer protection law than the EU Directive, so you can enjoy a longer warranty period than in most EU countries.

When does the warranty start?

The warranty period starts from the day you received the product, that is, from the date of delivery. This is why it is suggested that you keep your sales receipts and delivery statements.

How long is the warranty period?

Consumers enjoy a 2-year local EU warranty to all smart products ordered from ewelinkstore.com, while companies and entrepreneurs have a 1-year local EU warranty.

The warranty covers any defects presumed to have existed at the time of delivery and which become apparent within the warranty period.

You’ll receive a different level of service for the first half or the period and the second half of the period:

  • any fault that appears within the first half of the warranty period, it will be automatically presumed to have existed at the time of delivery. We shall repair or replace your product free of charge, or reimburse you if repair or replacement is not possible (in cases when the product is no longer sold).

  • in the second part of the warranty period, you shall also submit your warranty claim for any defects, but there are cases when we may require proof from you that the defect existed when the products were delivered. For this, you may need to involve a technical test laboratory to get a written technical report on the investigation, and to share it with us.

What problems are covered by the warranty?

The warranty only covers manufacturing defect cases, and clearly excludes cases of improper use, damages caused by bad wiring or bad battery, defects caused by overload, overvoltage, overtemperature, bad or lack of maintanance, lack of firmware updates, or DIY changes in the firmware, etc.

Defective products shall be reported to us within a reasonable period of time after the problem was first seen.
